My work lives where emotion meets design. I’m equal parts artist and archivist. My love for documentation began in 2012 with videography - I saw people and moments worth capturing and preserving. Four years later, I picked up my first 35mm SLR and began developing my own film in the darkroom - at this point, I fell deeply in love with the craft.
In 2023, I married my best friend, whom I met while serving in the Army. We’ve celebrated two weddings in two years (so yes, I truly understand the bride experience). In 2024, I moved from Colorado to Virginia. Another large part of my heart belongs to travel. So far, I have traveled through 35+ states and 25+ countries - experiencing other cultures continues to inspire my work and the way I see people as deeply human and deeply connected.
Having served in the U.S. Army Reserves, discipline, professionalism, and composure under pressure are central to how I show up on a wedding day and at every session. My role is never to intrude or overstep. I believe in images with longevity: modern, honest, and styled with intention.
It’s simple, really. My purpose is to reflect the goodness and freedom I’ve received in Jesus Christ into the images I create. My why is you. You are what matters; the camera, the workflows, the website… they’re just tools. You are the reason I do this, and at its core, my job is to serve you with fierce dedication and genuine care.
Who you meet on your wedding day is who I am 24/7: extroverted, fun, and upbeat. Outside of photography, I serve as a youth leader for my church, I’m an avid skier and my guilty pleasure will forever be Shin Ramyun. My husband and I got married in 2023. I know how good marriage is, so trust that I am exteremly excited for you.
My process is rooted in presence, intention, and experience. I blend documentary observation with refined direction - I step in when guidance elevates the moment and I step back when authenticity speaks for itself. I build custom timelines around your day, anticipate the quiet in-between moments, and prioritize an atmosphere where you can simply be yourselves.
